Hejia (Henry) Wang was a Penn undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry and Physics under the Vagelos Scholars in Molecular Life Sciences Program. He was born in Beijing China, but grew up in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland. Henry enjoys playing the alto saxophone, drinking coffee, and listening to an eclectic mix of classical/minimalist/indie and post rock music. His favorite movies are Oldboy, Fight Club, and Black Swan. Henry won the Founders Award and John C. Makris Award. He graduated in 2013 and went on to pursue his M.D./Ph.D. at the Perelman School of Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania.
